Learning Objectives

This course explores the practices necessary to develop a practical Decision Intelligence Framework (DIF). This (with its Principles companion course) is used by applied sound problem-solving & decision-making (PSDM) to innovate the organization's collective decision-making capability as a key value driver toward operational excellence. In this course learners will:

  • Align to the organization's shared value framework

  • Represent a typical 90 day DIF implementation plan

  • Illustrate the nine blocks of the universal A3 PSDM method

  • Assign a competent team with requisite roles and accountabilities

  • Formulate a clear problem statement using appropriate frames

  • Evaluation solution alternatives against objectives with appropriate models

  • Record the decision from the recommendation with rationale

  • Commit the organization to the action plan and monitor progress

  • Track performance objectives achievement and results delivery

  • Appraise decision quality and outcomes with lessons learned
